Nov 12: Join us for an exciting session with Simon de Waal, a true master of thrillers who seamlessly combines his roles as an author, screenwriter, director, and crime detective with the Amsterdam police. Known for hits like "Cop vs Killer" (2005), which earned a Golden Strop nomination, and "Pentito" (2007), winner of the Diamanten Kogel, Simon has cemented his place in the world of gripping crime storytelling. His screenplay for the Dutch classic "Lek" earned him a Golden Calf, and his recent work on "Het Gouden Uur" (NPO/Netflix) and "Sleepers" (Videoland, 2023) has been widely praised. Simon is currently adapting a thrilling hostage situation from an Apple Store in Amsterdam into a Netflix film.
