Shortcutz Amsterdam INTERNATIONAL Audience Award
Every year, Shortcutz Amsterdam collaborates with global partners to invite a worldwide audience to choose their favourite Dutch short film.
For the Audience Award, we embark on a tour featuring a compilation of the six nominees for Best Short Film of the Year.

Getting involved is easy and exciting! Find a local screening near you and watch six cool Dutch short films. After watching, vote for the film that resonates with you the most. Your choice helps decide this year’s Audience Award winner.
JURY TEAM
This year's Jury Team is composed of producer Jan Harlan ('The Shining'), Christopher Mack from Netflix International Originals, actress Elise Schaap ('Ferry'), director Roel Reiné ('Marvel’s Inhumans'), actress Willeke van Ammelrooy ('Antonia’s Line'), director Eddy Terstall ('Simon'), Eye's senior programmer and head of acquisitions René Wolf, and street artist Laser 3.14. RESULTS
The journey culminates on January 19, 2025, at 20:00 (CET), when the winner of the Audience Award will be revealed during the 12th Shortcutz Amsterdam Annual Awards. This celebratory event at Eye Filmmuseum will bring together filmmakers, industry professionals, and fans to honour the finest in Dutch short filmmaking.
