Juliana Gómez Ocampo

Juliana Gómez Ocampo is a creative director, editorial editor, image-maker & project producer, based in Amsterdam. Juliana operates at the intersection of different forms of expression including editorial, photography, architecture, design, art and filmmaking.

Her drive is to make these disciplines converge in cohesive structures and meaningful collaborative projects. With a social and cultural psychology background and extensive experience as a photographer and filmmaker, Juliana is able to creatively challenge projects, improve their aesthetic and take them to a next level.

As a cultural entrepreneur, she leads No Water for Whales, a creative platform that produces photography, filmmaking, creative content and editorial projects through a myriad of collaborations and formats. She is also one of the two founders, creative directors and chief editors of Yuca Magazine, an independent annual print publication integrating art, photography, culture, and literature.
