WHEN & WHERE ?
The result of this voting, the Mr. Zee Audience Award, will be announced during the 5th Edition of the Shortcutz Amsterdam Annual Awards, on January 21st at EYE Film Museum, Cinema 1!
Every year Shortcutz invite 11 inspiring film personalities to deliver a speech to inspire and motivate the new generation of filmmakers to create better movies and to announce the winners of several categories. For this edition, we have confirmed legendary producer Jan Harlan; Stanley Kubrick’s executive producer and right-hand (from 1969 until the end) and Spielberg’s producer for A.I. Artificial Intelligence.
In our Annual Awards we will also announce the Mr. Zee awards decided by our JURY TEAM in the categories of: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Post-Production, Best Animation, Best Documentary, Best Experimental, and Best DoP.

Synopsis
On October 2nd, 1944, my grandmother, then a fourteen-year-old girl, saw how her father, along with 658 other men, was deported by train from their village in Putten, the Netherlands. He never came back. Now she is 86 years old and the only member of her family still alive. While my grandmother shares her memories, we look into the eyes of girls who are fourteen years old now, full of stories of their own and with their open glance forward.

Synopsis
CHE! is a quirky youth documentary about twelve year old Che who has a vivid imagination and loves eerie and creepy stuff. His parents are divorced, but he doesn't really mind. It's actually quite convenient to get a double allowance. While Che is looking forward to Halloween, he finds out it can be rather a nuisance if you live far from old friends and have to arrange a meeting with your dad.
