Her new film KAPSALON ROMY written by Tamara Bos and produced by BosBros is currently in the cinema and had been receiving many appraisals by critics and both, a young and older audience plus several awards all around the world! Mischa also directed films such as JONGENS, PAARD VAN SINTERKLAAS, SING SONG among many others and she has directed the episode VECHTMEISJES for the series VAN GOD LOS.
MORE ABOUT MISCHA
Mischa Kamp studied at the Dutch Film Academy. In 2005 she directed the family film HET PAARD VAN SINTERKLAAS, written by Tamara Bos. The film was awarded the Golden Film (more than 350,000 visitors in the Netherlands), this also applied to the sequel WAAR IS HET PAARD VAN SINTERKLAAS.
In 2008, the psychological thriller DE FUIK received a Golden Calf nomination (aka the Dutch Oscar) for Best Television Film at the Nederlands Film Festival. She directed the TV film LELLEBELLE in 2010.
Mischa also directed the episode VECHTMEISJES for the BNN series VAN GOD LOS.
In February 2012, the family film TONY 10 premiered at the cinema. For her film JONGENS (BOYS, 2014) she received the Dutch Film Critics Award and Best Dutch Family Film at Cinekid. Netflix USA streamed BOYS in 2015/2016.
The film SING SONG was shot In Suriname and won first prize at the Chicago International Children's Film Festival.
