For the first ever, we will convert several areas of Sociëteit De Kring with media installations from the multimedia artist SASKIA BODDEKE, thanks to SONY Europe, Cam-a-Lot and BeamSystems. The videos, most of them being a part of big multimedia installations, show a selection of the works of Saskia Boddeke that have never been shown in the Netherlands until now.

MORE ABOUT SASKIA

Saskia Boddeke works as a multimedia artist, director and filmmaker for more than 25 years. Her projects can often be seen on foreign stages and in international museums.

Her last project in the Netherlands was the successful documentary "The Greenaway Alphabet", about her husband Peter Greenaway and their daughter Pip. This film premiered in IDFA in 2017, and has since made a successful international tour at festivals, TV stations, and cinemas. The film has received various nominations and won three prizes for best documentary.

THE INTERNET

"Het Internet" is a short historical piece of fiction with a twist. The film tells the story of a young lady called Bo in the year 1994. Bo discovers that a private photograph of her has been published on the Internet, and she wants to have it returned to her. She decides there's no other option than to infiltrate the company that is storing her photograph.
