Shortcutz Amsterdam and The Student Hotel West are joining forces. We want to invite you to lay in bed and watch some cool short films from exciting up-and-coming Dutch filmmakers. Join the Bed Talks space at The Student Hotel West, lay down and travel to several places and realities. Since the biggest documentary film festival in the world, IDFA is just around the corner, for this first programme, we suggest you an one-hour selection of awesome short documentaries from our official selection to warm you up.

If you want to join the film community, watch short films, meet super cool up-and-coming filmmakers and the ‘rockstars’ of the Dutch cinema, join our free weekly sessions at De Kring (Leidseplein). From March until the end of June, and from September until the end of November, every Tuesday you can watch two short films from the new Dutch film talent and meet the teams. You will also meet a stablished film professional, our special guest, and ask her/him/them some questions. There’s no registration needed, you just have to show up and bring your curiosity. These sessions are English spoken and the films are subtitled in English. Check out our upcoming EVENTS.
